Hey, you found Bedrosian's Beard! The (fictional) website www.BedrosiansBeard.com is mentioned in my series of kids’ books about Lenny Norbeck & his friends, who are all amateur sleuths & baseball fans. (The first one, STRIKE THREE: YOU’RE DEAD, should come out some time in 2012. The publisher is Alfred A. Knopf Books for Young Readers.) It’s named for Phils’ pitcher Steve Bedrosian who really did have a pretty sweet beard. In the book, BB is a site for “slightly crazy” fans to swap rumors and chat about the Phils. It has some key clues in solving the mystery at the heart of the book! So I decided to make my own BedrosiansBeard.com, even though it’s not exactly like the one in the book. It’s more just my personal musings (and the musings of my friends) on baseball, books, and baseball books. What else is there, really? Glad you found it!
